I can’t believe today is Christmas! It came so fast!
Today my family and I got up and ate cinnamon rolls (we always eat cinnamon rolls because it is a family tradition), and then we opened our presents and opened stalkings. Later on, our friends and grandparents will come over and we will eat a big turkey dinner, and play some games.
That is what my Christmas kind of looks like!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! And Don’t forget the true reason why we celebrate Christmas. We celebrate Christmas because Jesus was born to this earth, since he was born on this earth, died on the cross, and rose on the third day, we are able to go to heaven If we believe in him.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Hope you are having a nice day! Through the month of November, I have been trying Dunkin’s and Starbuck’s Holiday drinks. If you did not know I am obsessed with peppermint mocha, I got to try a lot of those kinds of drinks. This is not to see who’s better (Dunkin’ and Starbucks) but just review them and tell you my honest opinion.
The first drink I got was the peppermint mocha latte from Dunkin. As you can tell, There was chocolate syrup on the side but that did not bother me at all.
The presentation of the drink was beautiful. And I loved the taste of it. If there was one thing about the taste, it could use more flavoring of peppermint. It was sweet enough, I (personly) would like to taste more peppermint. I would rate this drink a nine out of ten.
The next drink is the toasted white chocolate latte. It definitely tasted like toasted white chocolate. I was kinda disappointed because I could not taste any coffee. The more I drank, the more it got sweeter. Now it did not taste horrible, but it was just really sweet. If you like coffee that doesn’t taste like coffee you would probably like this drink. I would rate it a seven out of ten because it was just too sweet for me personally. The flavor was good just too much sweetness. I should probably expect that though, knowing dunkin’. lol
The next drink is the Caramel Brulee Latte from Starbucks. The presentation was very cute, their holiday cups are so cute! When I got this drink I was expecting a caramel flavor and there was not that much. It did kinda have a smokey flavor, but not that much caramel. I kept siping and siping trying to taste the caramel and I could only taste a small hint. Maybe it’s just how Starbucks caramel tastes (I have never had any of Starbucks Carmel drinks). Now, did I hate this drink? No, it tasted fine. Would I buy this drink again? Probably not because I can’t afford it. lol and it wasn’t really that special. I would give this drink a 7 1/2 out of ten.
The next Drink is the Iced Sugar Cookie Latte. Usually, it is with almond milk, but they had no almond milk at the Starbucks I went to. I wasn’t upset because usually, I get my coffee with regular milk. As soon as I took that first sip, it tasted just like the toasted white chocolate latte from Dunkin that I got. It might have been that they were both sugary but I don’t know. The only difference was this one had more of a vanilla taste (as it should because it is sugar cookie flavor) than the toasted white chocolate latte. This drink did not taste horrible but just like the white chocolate latte, it did not have enough coffee flavor for me. So if you like drinks that don’t taste like coffee, get this. I would rate this one a seven out of ten.
Lastly, we have the peppermint mocha frappuccino. This drink has been my favorite holiday drink for a very long time. This drink is very pepperminty and chocolaty. It is super creamy and delicious. Even though it technically is not a coffee drink it is still good. I would give this drink a 10 out of 10.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post! My favorite drink that I tried hast to be the peppermint mocha latte from Dunkin.
Today I am going to share some activities to do during the holidays! If you are having friends over and don’t know what to do, or you want to plan an activity with your friends, maybe this will give you ideas on what to do!
Ice Skating. I know everyone has had this idea, but trust me it is a ton of fun! Especially with your friends. If you are afraid of falling try ice skating on fake ice. Trust me, it does not hurt as bad, and you won’t fall as much.
Cookie Icing Contest. Have a fun contest on who can make the best-looking cookie. Then have your mom or someone who did not compete judge it.
Go on a Christmas Light Ride. I and my family do this every year and it is very fun, especially when you have hot chocolate and mint melt aways. I’d recommend looking up a big light attraction in your area, and then going to see those lights. And on the way there go through the neighborhoods that have a ton of lights.
Have a Christmas Movie Marathon. Buy some hot chocolate, popcorn, and candy. Then, get some blankets, sit down, and watch some Christmas movies with your friends. I would recommend watching Home Alone one and two, and Elf.
Go Christmas Caroling to shut-ins. If you and your friends like to sing this would be a lot of fun. Plus, you the shut-ins will love hearing you sing.
Go Sledding/Snow Boarding. I am going to assume that everyone has sled before if not, you need to go sledding. If you have not gone snowboarding before I would recommend trying it. Snowboarding is a little difficult but eventually, you will get the hang of it. Personally, I love snowboarding, and it is always more fun to do it with friends than by yourself.
Go Shopping! If you and all your friends love shopping this would be fun! You could do fun challenges like, who can make the cheapest outfit or who can make the most Christmasy outfit. Another fun thing to do when you are shopping is to pick out outfits for each other and see if they really know what you like.
Build Gingerbread Houses. To do this all you would need is a couple gingerbread house kits. I would recommend buying gingerbread houses that are already together because the frosting never works when putting together the house. If you want to make it a competition you could see who can make the best looking gingerbread house.
Gift Exchange. I love doing these because you have no idea what you are getting. To do this, tell all of your friends to bring a gift (it can be anything), and then pass them out to each other.
Board Game Night with a Hot Chocolate Bar. If your friends love board games this would be a fun activity! A hot chocolate bar would go perfect with a board game night.
Hope this post gave you some ideas! Have a nice day!
I know a lot of people like to give gifts to their pets on Christmas Day. My family does stockings for them and not wrapped gifts. Maybe you don’t have a pet but you know someone else who does. You could get them something for their animal as a gift to them (If they like the animal obviously). Here is what I got my animals plus some ideas to get your animals.
Costumes. If your animal is okay with wearing costumes this would be a great gift. It is also super cute for a photoshoot with the animal.
A blanket for them to snuggle with.
NylonBone. This is supposed to be a healthier chew for dogs.
A Kong. These are good for dogs who like to chew a lot. Or if you have a super hyper dog, you could put some peanut butter inside of the Kong, and they have to try to get it out. Which it will take a little while for them to get it out.
Bandana for your dog. I love bandanas on dogs! They are always so cute wearing them!
New Dog Bed. Maybe your dog needs a new dog bed? The perfect excuse to get them a dog bed.
Indoor Cat Interactive Swimming Fish Toy. I saw this on amazon, and this would be a great gift for a cat. This is a great toy to keep your cat busy. Here is the link.
Hidey hutch for your Small Pet. Most small pets like to be under something because they feel more protected. There are a lot of cute Hidey hutches you could get your small pet. You can even make one yourself out of cardboard. Make sure not to get a cloth one, because if they were to chew it, it could cause intestinal blockage.
That is all! Hope it gave you some ideas! Have a great day!
Hope your day is going great! Today is my very first Christmas post! I will be posting Twelve Christmas posts (because of the song “Twelve Days of Christmas“) and the twelfth one will be on Christmas Day. So keep your eye out for all of those Christmas posts at 10:00 A.M. CT on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
If you look at my sidebar (scroll all the way down to the bottom if you have a phone) on my blog you should find a playlist of Christmas music. Feel free to listen to those while you read my Christmas blog posts. Today’s first one is going to be my wish list because why not, and maybe it might give you some ideas of what to ask for. When it says “here is the link” below a photo, click the word link and it should bring you to that item.
A Drawing Pad for a Computer. I have been wanting to do digital art for a very long time now, but I don’t have an iPad to do it on. I looked at iPads and Samsung tablets, but they are all too much money (like I don’t have 500 dollars laying around lol). My dad told me I could draw on a pad connected to the computer, plus it is a LOT cheaper.
Tangled Music Book. I have the frozen one and I love it because it has chords on top so I can add stuff to it (so kinda like hymn playing). So I would like to have this book because I love all of the songs in the movie.
A Circle Mirror. I already have a place to put this in my room. I think it would be nice in my room and I was going to put fairy light around it.
Dunkin’ Gift Card. I love coffee and especially love Dunkin’. I can get four drinks for about ten dollars at Dunkin. That is why I like to buy coffee there. lol
Rings. I love rings as jewelry because I can still do everything (Like play piano, violin, etc).
A Zip-Up Hoodie. I love hoodies but I don’t like how you have to pull it over (I know I know, it’s stupid lol) So I would love a hoodie that zips up.
Candles. I love the smell of most candles, and they are always so pretty.
Bubble Tea kit. I love bubble tea but I can’t get it very often because the bubble tea shop I go to is kinda far. So I would love a kit that way I could make it at home!
That is all for this post! I hope you enjoyed reading it! Keep your eye out for the eleven more to come!
