How To Make Cold Sweet Foam

I love coffee. Specifically iced coffee. When I have a free drink at Dunkin’ or Starbucks I always get a cold brew with cold foam. Because it can be kinda pricy for cold brews with cold foam, I have started to make it myself at home. It is very simple to make cold foam and it is delicious!

All you need to make Cold Sweet Foam is

  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • dash of vanilla

All you have to do to make sweet cold foam is put all of the ingredients into a cup or bowl and froth them together.

This is what it looks like before becoming a foam-like texture. The brown liquid is vanilla.
Frothing it up!
Final product! Nice and foamy!

If you don’t have a hand frother you can use a hand mixer. Once it is nice a fluffy add on top of your cold brew and enjoy!

Don’t have cream in the house, or you don’t like to add sugar to things. Don’t worry! It will still work! It just won’t be as creamy and as sweet. Personally, I think it tastes fine without sugar.

If you are dairy-free you can make this with oat milk. Just replace the milk and cream with 1/4 cup of oat milk. It tastes just as good!

Here are recipe cards you can download in case you want to make sweet cold foam.

Reviewing Holiday Drinks From Dunkin’ and Starbucks

Christmas Photo Facebook Cover (3).png

Hope you are having a nice day! Through the month of November, I have been trying Dunkin’s and Starbuck’s Holiday drinks. If you did not know I am obsessed with peppermint mocha, I got to try a lot of those kinds of drinks. This is not to see who’s better (Dunkin’ and Starbucks) but just review them and tell you my honest opinion.

Here is the front.

The first drink I got was the peppermint mocha latte from Dunkin. As you can tell, There was chocolate syrup on the side but that did not bother me at all.

The whipped cream was sooo good!😍😍

The presentation of the drink was beautiful. And I loved the taste of it. If there was one thing about the taste, it could use more flavoring of peppermint. It was sweet enough, I (personly) would like to taste more peppermint. I would rate this drink a nine out of ten.

I love the new Christmas cup design!

Sorry, the photo is blurry. It was dark so it was kinda hard to take photos.

The next drink is the toasted white chocolate latte. It definitely tasted like toasted white chocolate. I was kinda disappointed because I could not taste any coffee. The more I drank, the more it got sweeter. Now it did not taste horrible, but it was just really sweet. If you like coffee that doesn’t taste like coffee you would probably like this drink. I would rate it a seven out of ten because it was just too sweet for me personally. The flavor was good just too much sweetness. I should probably expect that though, knowing dunkin’. lol

The whipped cream on top of the Caramel Brulee Latte. The reason why it is black on the back round was that I was wearing black pants and I put the drink in between my legs that way the drink would not spell. Well… that is how the photo turned out. lol

The next drink is the Caramel Brulee Latte from Starbucks. The presentation was very cute, their holiday cups are so cute! When I got this drink I was expecting a caramel flavor and there was not that much. It did kinda have a smokey flavor, but not that much caramel. I kept siping and siping trying to taste the caramel and I could only taste a small hint. Maybe it’s just how Starbucks caramel tastes (I have never had any of Starbucks Carmel drinks). Now, did I hate this drink? No, it tasted fine. Would I buy this drink again? Probably not because I can’t afford it. lol and it wasn’t really that special. I would give this drink a 7 1/2 out of ten.

Sugar Cookie Latte. The sprinkles are so cute!

The next Drink is the Iced Sugar Cookie Latte. Usually, it is with almond milk, but they had no almond milk at the Starbucks I went to. I wasn’t upset because usually, I get my coffee with regular milk. As soon as I took that first sip, it tasted just like the toasted white chocolate latte from Dunkin that I got. It might have been that they were both sugary but I don’t know. The only difference was this one had more of a vanilla taste (as it should because it is sugar cookie flavor) than the toasted white chocolate latte. This drink did not taste horrible but just like the white chocolate latte, it did not have enough coffee flavor for me. So if you like drinks that don’t taste like coffee, get this. I would rate this one a seven out of ten.

Lastly, we have the peppermint mocha frappuccino. This drink has been my favorite holiday drink for a very long time. This drink is very pepperminty and chocolaty. It is super creamy and delicious. Even though it technically is not a coffee drink it is still good. I would give this drink a 10 out of 10.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post! My favorite drink that I tried hast to be the peppermint mocha latte from Dunkin.

My Favorite Drinks

I know it has been a while since I have posted. I went to camp for a week, and then I was busy with summer activities. I just started school a week ago, and I and my family are taking my brother to college so trying to get ready for that.😅 So here is a list of my favorite drinks! I recommend you try these if you have not. (:

  • Carmel Iced Coffee With Cream From Dunkin’. I LOVE coffee, this is what I get all the time. If some one were to ask what I put in my coffee this is what I would say. I also Like this drink with coconut milk. I love the flavor coconut and it makes it super creamy.
  • Smoked Vanilla Cold Brew With Sweet Cold Foam From Dunkin. If you can’t tell all ready, I really like Dunkin. lol I explain why I like Dunkin in this post. Anyways… This drink taste like heaven! It is super creamy and the vanilla flavoring taste soo good.
  • Brown Sugar Milk tea with Tapioca Pearls (AKA Bubble Tea). This year, I tried bubble tea for the very first time, and now I am obsessed with it! It is so much fun to eat the Bubbles on the bottom, and the milk tea is delicious. If you have not tried Bubble tea before, you must put it on your bucket list (or some type of list lol).
  • Pina colada. On a hot summer day, this drink is so refreshing! I love a cold Pina Colada(no alcohol obviously). When I get this I usually get Tapioca pearls on the bottom.
  • Rootbeer. This is my favorite pop since I was like six. lol When ever I get a drink, when I go out to eat, I will most likely get root beer.
  • Chery Sprite. I love anything flavored cherry so that is probably why I like this pop.

What is your favorite drink? Have a nice day!

Dunkin’ vs Starbucks

We all know (hopefully) what Dunkin and Starbucks are. In case not, they both sell coffee, and that is what I am going to compare today.

I have had both Dunkin’ and Starbucks (in case you were wondering), and in the end, I will share my personal favorite.

The Quality of the Coffee

When I think of good quality coffee, Starbucks is one of the brands that pop in my head. That does not mean that Dunkin’ is Honorable Starbucks just has a little better quality. I asked my dad why he prefers Starbucks instead of Dunkin’, and he told me that Dunkin’ had a wired after taste to it. For me, I have never tasted that before, all the coffee I have gotten from there was good.

The Prices of the Coffee

I looked up what is the cheapest drink at Starbucks and Dunkin’; Starbucks cost 2.94 for a tall, dark roast, and Dunkin’ was 1.59 for a small coffee. Obviously, Dunkin’ won for the cheapest. If you like good quality and overpriced coffee, then Starbucks might be for you. One time I got a medium Iced coffee from Dunkin’, and my brother got a grande frappe from Starbucks, and my MEDIUM was the same size as his grande. That is sad. LOL

The Charities do they support?

For a lot of people, what Charities/companies they support does not matter to them. But for a lot of other people, it does. Dunkin’ supports charities such as the American Red Cross and Special Olympics. Starbucks supports Abortion, Planned Parent Hood. Abortion is not right and should be ended, which is what Trump is trying to do. I am not going to blabber on and on, but no one should be supporting them. There is another once too, but this is the one that should everyone off.

In conclusion, I think (I like) Dunkin’ is better, but that does not mean you should never go to Starbucks. If you have a gift card, your friend got you a coffee, or that is the only place nearby, then that’s fine. Just do not donate to them, or try not to make it the main place you get your everyday coffee from.

I hope you found my post informational! If you were wondering, my order at Dunkin’ is an iced coffee with caramel and cream and no sugar. Also, I don’t get coffee every single day for me, it is a “treat.” Which one do you prefer? Have a great day! ~ Raegan
