“No Not One”, “I Run To Christ”, And “Savior Like A Shepard Lead Us” Played on Piano

Hello! I hope you are having a nice day! About a month ago, I did a post called “My Summer Bucket list.” On the list was uploading more music to YouTube. And well… I did! I uploaded three more songs, and I am hoping to add more! Here they are!

I have been recently learning new hymns because my church does not have a piano player anymore. For a couple of months, it’s been guitars leading the singing (I play guitar, but now I play piano and guitar. Slowly making my way to playing piano all the time) well… *laughs in frustration* let’s just say, the guitars do not lead as well as piano. So yeah… that’s what I am working on right now. If you know any tips for hymn playing please tell me. I would love to read them (more like need to read them).

The last song is “Savior Like A Shepard Lead Us”. I am playing this song for my camp’s music competition.

Hope you enjoyed listening to those songs! Keep your eye out for new videos!

Tips For Beginner Musicians

I hope you are doing great! Today I am going to share some tips for beginner musicians. I play the piano, guitar, ukulele, and… I am learning the violin (I’m very excited😜)🎉!! So I do have experience playing instruments. If you’re leaning the piano, flute, violin, etc then these tips will hopefully help you!

This is a phone background I made. You are welcome to use it. It is a reminder for you to practice when you turn on your phone or go to your home page. (;

PRACTICE! When most people first learn an instrument, they have some motivation to practice because you’re doing something new and exciting! But after a while, the instrument might get a little boring. If that does happen set about 15-30 minutes to practice. It’s okay to miss one day, but remember you are not going to get better at any instrument if you do not practice.

Don’t give up! Just because you are not getting it right away, does not mean you should give up. I know a lot of people give up the guitar because it hurts their fingers or they are not getting how to put their fingers on the right fret. That kind of stuff can be fixed. If you practice 15 minutes every day, you will eventually get calluses on your figures, and then it will not hurt while you play the guitar. If your figures still hurt after 15 minutes of practicing, then try 10 minutes, then go up to 15 minutes. Now sometimes it is just hard for some people to learn a specific instrument. And after a while, you feel like you still don’t get it you could quit. Now don’t feel bad about quitting. Maybe the instrument was just not meant for you!

Brass Trumpet With Musical Notes

Play music you enjoy playing. This if you don’t like to practice. Learning a piece that you enjoy playing/listening to will make your practice more! Now A lot of people make the mistake of only playing music they know how to play. Now, if you want to get good at an instrument, you are going to have to learn the difficult thing about the instrument. Just playing what you know how to play is not the greatest, but it is always a good review on the things you already know.

Find a teacher you get along with. This will defiantly help want to practice and to be excited to go to your lessons, because if you don’t get along with your teacher, then you probably will not be as motivated to practice (and there is another reason why some people quit their instrument). If you feel like this teacher is not right for you and you guys just are not getting along try a new teacher. When looking for a teacher, ask around and see what other people say about that person before you start lessons with them.

Hope you found these helpful! Do you play an instrument? Do you want to play an instrument?

“Amazing Grace” and A “Whole New World” Played on Piano

A couple weeks ago I did This post (click this post to read it😉) and in that post, I said that I would be posting some piano songs on my YouTube Channel (I also talk a lot more about my piano history). Well… I finally uploaded some music! I uploaded Amazing Grace. I played that song for a special at my church, so I figured I would upload it to YouTube as well.

The thumb nail pic is not my piano. Just to clarify that. lol It’s from pexles.com. Also, that white stuff on the tree is snow. Thankfully it is gone (I am so done with snow this year😂).

The second song I uploaded was A Whole new world. I actually tried to play off the top of my head it when I was like 12, but then now I found the music and I can play the whole (pun unintended) song. I love this song! It’s probably one of my favorite songs to play on the piano. I have been working on memorize it. lol

I was thinking about making a karaoke to this music, once I get better at it. lol

I recorded it on my piano with my phone, and it’s kind of a weird angle, so I am trying to figure out what angle looks the best. I do like this angle because you can see outside, which I think looks kind of nice. Comment what you think of this angle or if I should change it?

That’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed listening to the songs! I plan on uploading some more songs in the future, so don’t for get to subscribe.(; Do you play piano?
