Christmas Party Ideas

Hey! Hope your day is going great and you are drinking lots of hot cocoa! (: Today I am sharing some Christmas party Ideas to do! I love going to Christmas parties and I love hosting them. So here are some ideas that I came up with.

Stocking exchange. Everyone brings a stocking with things inside of it to the party and exchanges it with someone. So it is kind of like a white elephant gift exchange but with stockings.

Charcuterie Board Christmas themed. What I mean by this is that everyone brings a charcuterie board but on the board are all Christmas desserts. For instance, one person brings a board with all hot chocolate stuff and another person brings one with Christmas cookies, etc.

Go look at Christmas lights with your friends. Have your friends meet at your house and make some hot cocoa and go in your car and look at Christmas lights in neighborhoods while you drink hot cocoa.

Christmas movie marathon. This would be some much fun to do! Some great movies to watch for a Christmas movie marathon would be Elf, Home Alone, Home Alone two, A Christmas Story, and The Grinch.

Christmas pet party. If you have pets and your friends have pets through a Christmas pet party! Have everyone dress up their pets in cute Christmas outfits and be sure to have lots of treats for your furry friends! If you do this make sure that all the animals get along together before putting them together.

Christmas Craft Night. You can make crafts, or if you have a small group of friends have them bring their favorite crafts, and you all make it together.

Cookie decorating. I know everyone does this, but you can not go wrong with decorating cookies! It is always so much fun and fun to eat them too! (;

Around the world (the ways different cultures celebrate Christmas). This is a great way to learn about the different ways cultures celebrate Christmas! Have everyone brings either food from that culture that they eat during Christmas and maybe something from the culture or a fun fact about how they celebrate.

I hope this gave you some ideas! Have a great day!

Hey! I can’t believe it is already December! And it is only 25 days till Christmas!! I am going to try to post ten Christmas-themed posts! So keep your eye out for all of those! Also, there is a Christmas playlist on the side of my blog if you want to listen to Christmas music while you read this post. (;

I am very excited to do this and I hope you all are too! On that note, here is my Christmas wish list!

Travel organizers. I love traveling and so these would be very nice for packing so my stuff doesn’t get unorganized.

Gel polish remover kit. I have been into doing gel nails lately, so this would be very handy.

Claw clips. I love these clips and I am also obsessed with these colors.

Digital alarm clock. I do not have a clock right now in my room so this would be nice to have plus it is an alarm clock as well.

Tall Glass Cups. I love making iced coffee, so these would be perfect to drink iced coffee in.

Gel polish brushes. These are so cute and perfect for doing designs on nails.

Wireless earbuds. I need these for school and also these are perfect for car trips because there are no wires to get tangled up.

Gold earrings. These are so cute! Also, I have been obsessed with hooped earrings.

Volleyball hitting trainer. This is super cool. What you do is you hang it on a basketball hoop and you can practice hitting a volleyball.

Clear organizers. I plan to put these in my drawers so that I can organize everything better.

Four Ways to Get Motivated To Clean and Declutter

Hey! Hope your day is going great! Today I am going to do a post that I have never touched on which is cleaning. Personally, I don’t mind cleaning, but when it comes to my room… that is a different story. Anyways here are some tips that I have found to motivate me to clean (especially my room lol).

Watch Organizing or Cleaning videos. Lately, I have been obsessed with watching organizing and cleaning videos (here is a link to a video if you want to check it out), and after I watch them it gives me a ton of motivation to clean and organize my stuff. So I would say give it a try and watch some of the videos.

Listen To Music or a Podcast. This gives me so much motivation to clean and to keep cleaning! Find your favorite playlist, turn on the radio, or find a podcast and enjoy the music/podcast while you clean.

Invite a friend or a family member over to have a reason to clean. This is a great way to get yourself to clean your house. Because when you’re by yourself, you probably don’t want to clean because it’s just you, but if you have someone over you will have a reason to clean.

Get cleaning/organizing items. Personally, I like having the right items for cleaning instead of just a wet rag. An actual cleaner will get the job done and make it look nice. If you are organizing stuff, get organizers or clear small containers for drawers. All your stuff will look much neater if you organize it.

Hope you found these helpful! What are some ways of motivation that help you clean or organize? Have a great day!

Three Easy Ways To Save Money

Today I am going to share three easy ways to save money. If you want to save up for a vacation or the gas prices are taking a toll on your bank account, here are some ways to help you save money.

  1. Coupons. There are so many coupons online and in the mail. Just go online, search the store you are going to, and look for coupons. I always look to see if there are any coupons online before I go to the store. There are several websites where you can search the store, and many coupons will appear. A couple of them are, Retail me not, Honney, and Capital One Shopping. Many of those coupon websites are for online shopping as well. Many stores and restaurants/fast foods have apps, and a lot of the time, that place puts coupons or deals to help you save money.
  2. Don’t Buy Something You Don’t Need. We’ve all done this before. You go into a store and find a cute pair of shoes or a little Debbie cake, you want to buy it, but do you actually need it? It is amazing how much money you will save if you don’t spend your money on something you never needed. Another way people waste a lot of money is by buying overpriced coffee. If you buy a six-dollar drink say, 5 days out of the week that is thirty dollars right there. There is nothing wrong with getting a drink once in a while or buying a pair of shoes, but if you do it a lot then the money is going to start to add up. Just ask yourself before you buy something “Do I need this?” then decide whether you should buy it or not.
  3. Make Budgets on Your Spending. If you are having trouble keeping track of your spending, make budgets for everything. Some specific things you could make a budget for are food, coffee, and clothes. Look at your income, then decide what would be a good budget for different things.

That is three easy ways to save money. Personally, these have helped me throughout the years to save money. If you have any tips, share them in the comments for everyone else to read! Have a great day!

Thick Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake

Hello! Today I am going to share a recipe with you all! This recipe is a thick chocolate peanut butter shake. It is super thick, creamy, healthy, and easy to make! It is perfect for breakfast and even lunch.

Ingredients

1 Frozen Banana (I leave mine out on the counter for a little that way the banana is easier to blend)

2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder or Chocolate Protein Powder

1/3 cup of peanut butter (If you are allergic to Peanut Butter You could probably use any other type of nut butter as a substitute)

4 Ice Cubes (if you have small ice cubes use 6)

1/3 cup milk of choice

Directions

Put all of your ingredients in a blender (I use nutribullet blender).

Start blending it all together. If your blender is having trouble blending it, add a little more milk. Keep adding milk until it can blend properly. The more milk you add it will not be as thick so just be careful of how much milk you add to it. Once it is fully blended and the consistency you like, add your favorite toppings (I like to add whipped cream, but you can add whatever you like!) and enjoy!

Hope you all enjoy this recipe! Feel free to download the recipe card above!

Animals I Would Want To Own Some Day As a Pet

Hey, Hope you all are having a great day! Today I am sharing animals I would want to own someday as a pet. Now I don’t think I will end up owning all of these (especially not all at the same time) but who knows.

New Foundland. I love these dogs and I love how big and fluffy they are, plus they get along with everyone. Now because of their size, this would be a maybe but it would definitely be on the list of dogs I would get.

An older dog. I would love to just go and get an older dog from a shelter or one that might end up in the shelter if someone does not take it. I like older dogs, I think they deserve to have a happy rest of their lives and not have to live in a shelter for the rest of their life.

I want one this color and I want to name it twinkie. lol

Cockatiel. I love these birds and they have such a huge personality! I have done a lot of research on parrots and I feel like these would be the perfect match for me.

It’s so cute!

Sheep. I love sheep! They are so cute and fun to watch! I don’t know if I would breed and sell or keep only a couple. But I would like to have some.

Barn Cats. Obviously, if I have sheep I will probably end up having a barn. I would want barn cats because I know a lot of people are allergic to cats so if they are outside you don’t have to worry about allergies. I know some people don’t like animals staying outside, but the cats (max of 3) will have all of their shots and spayed/neutered, and they will have a barn for bad weather.

Rabbit. I have a rabbit right now, and I love her! Rabbits are great pets and are super social and friendly. I would definitely want to get another one in the future.

Koi Fish (if I have a pond). Koi fish are so cute and fun to watch. If I end up having a pond I would definitely get some koi.

Those are all of the animals. Obviously I would not be able to get all of these if I do not have a large property so we will see what happens in the future! What type of pets do you want? Have a nice day!

Happy Easter! Easter Bunny Photo Shoot

Happy Easter everyone! Hope your day is going great! Today my family and I went to church. Then we went home and ate at a local diner for dinner.

Here are some pics fo my rabbit!

These photos were taken with the S22. The camera is AMAZING!

Don’t forget the real reason for Easter! That is Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day. And because he did that we can go to heaven if we believe in him. Have a great Easter!

Tips For Musicians

Today I am going to share some tips for musicians. These tips will work pretty well with most instruments.

Practice Slowly

When someone is wanting to learn a new song they tend to play it at the right tempo, and then they make a ton of mistakes. To avoid making a bunch of mistakes, practice slowly. Then after you know all of the rhythm, notes, dynamics, etc. you can play it at the correct tempo.

Know Your Scales

When I started to learn the scales, I was like, “well, this is stupid,” But later on, I learned that I will actually use the scales in several songs. It also helps a lot with sight-reading. So trust me when I say they are not stupid, and you will be using them in a lot of songs. If you want more advanced scales than just the C scale, D scale, etc, check out Hanon. It is a book that has scales for more advanced musicians and helps with classical songs. Here is the LINK

Quality over Quantity when Practicing

I have heard a couple of stories where people practice a lot but do not make any improvement. That is probably because they are repeating the same mistake over and over and not fixing their mistakes. If you think about it, you are your teacher. You just go to a teacher once a week to help learn new things and improve. But during the week you should be fixing your mistakes. If you don’t know how to fix your mistake, go online and look up how to do what you are struggling with, or text your teacher and ask for some advice (I’m sure they would give it to you). Just remember, even though it is very important to practice a lot, make sure you are doing it right and fixing your mistakes.

Spread Out Your Practice

If it is difficult for you to sit down and practice for thirty minutes straight, try spreading it out. If you go to school, practice once in the morning for ten minutes, then another ten minutes when you get home, and ten more minutes a night. This will make it much easier to get in practice time if you struggle with playing for a long time.

If You are Learning an Instrument Make Sure it is Good Quality

This is a super common mistake a lot of people make. Someone wants to learn an instrument, and they go out and buy the cheapest one they can find. Don’t do that! I understand that instruments are expensive (trust me I know), but it will not help you learn that instrument. For one, the instrument will not sound as good, and you will make several mistakes when playing because of the quality. When I started violin, I borrowed a violin, and let me tell you, that violin was not very good quality. It started to fall apart (the owner was not mad and did not care because the violin was cheap) which made me very frustrated. But when I got a new violin it sounded better and was not falling apart. The better quality of an instrument you have the more likely you will be more motivated to practice. If you can not afford to buy a nice quality instrument, look at used ones. People are always giving out their instruments, and most of the time they are of good quality. Try looking online on Facebook or eBay.

I hope you found some of these tips helpful! If you have any questions feel free to ask! Also, feel free to share some of your own tips! I would love to hear them! Check out this post for more tips!

Dog Breeds I Would Not Get As a pet

Hello! Hope your day is going well! Today I am going to share some dog breeds I would not get as a pet. This does not mean I don’t like these dogs because I do like most of them. I just would not want to own one of these dogs for their entire life because of how high maintenance most of these dogs are.

Hounds

These dogs are so cute! I like hanging out with them, but I have heard and seen way too many things happen to these dogs. I know of a beagle who ran away and got hit by a car and a hound mix who also got hit by a car. This is very sad and I personally, would not want to deal with that. They are also very stubborn and have a high prey drive, which is one reason why these dogs run away and end up getting hit.

Dachshund

I have had a ton of experience with these dogs, so I know for a fact that I do not want one of these dogs. The main reason I don’t want one of these dogs is because of how often they bark. I would probably go insane if the dog would not listen and would keep barking. They are also not the greatest with children, and I would want a dog who is known for being friendly towards everyone.

Belgian Malinois

If you did not know, these dogs are known for being military/police dogs. So right there is a red flag because you know that they will require a ton of training. I have heard many stories of people getting these dogs and taking them to training right as soon as they got them, but they still become aggressive when they got older. The reason why these dogs become aggressive is that they need a job to do. And if they are not given a job they will start to become aggressive. Personally, I don’t think I would be able to handle one of these dogs.

Husky

Huskys have such a funny personality and are so cute! While they are cute and funny they are very stubborn. which makes it very difficult to train them. They howl and whine a ton (they don’t tend to bark a lot), and that would get very annoying (to me personally). So I probably will not end up getting one of these dogs.

Chihuahua

They are pretty self-explanatory. These dogs tend to be very aggressive and only like their owner. I would like a dog that is friendly towards everyone and not just its family or one person. They also have an annoying bark (most little dogs do). I do know that there are a couple friendly Chihuahuas but I would not want to risk that.

That is all of the dogs. Again, It’s not that don’t like these dogs because I do like most of them. I have dog sat a lot of them and I know that I would not want one of these dogs. I hope you enjoyed reading this post! What are some dog breeds you would not want as a pet?

My Mug Collection

Hello! I hope your day is going fantastic! Today I will be sharing my mug collection. Now I don’t drink coffee every day… yet, but probably someday I will.😅 That is one reason why I have all of these mugs, well… and because they are cute.

First up is my mermaid mug. I got this mug in San Diego.

I got this mug for my birthday from my parents. They got it for me because I like to sleep in (but who doesn’t lol?!).

It says, “Llama just stay in bed.”

I got this shook mug from Hobby Lobby. It was on sale so that is why I bought it.

My unicorn cup with a unicorn spoon and top.

Sorry about the glare.

My Chicago mug. Guess where I got this mug. lol

💞

This is my Dunkin’ cup. If you did not know, I love Dunkin’ coffee so I got this cute mug from Dunkin’.

The inside of it.

😍

Next up is another unicorn mug(shocker I know). This is my first unicorn mug, and it sadly has small cracks all over it. I don’t know how it got those. I didn’t even drop it.

That is all of my mugs! Hope you enjoyed this post!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!❤️

I hope you all are having a wonderful day full of ‘love’! Today I did school and went to chipotle for lunch with my dad. Later on, after dinner, we will eat a healthy, gluten-free, no sugar, chocolate cake. I will post a picture later this week of it. That is what I did/going to do today.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! What did you do today?

How To Make Cold Sweet Foam

I love coffee. Specifically iced coffee. When I have a free drink at Dunkin’ or Starbucks I always get a cold brew with cold foam. Because it can be kinda pricy for cold brews with cold foam, I have started to make it myself at home. It is very simple to make cold foam and it is delicious!

All you need to make Cold Sweet Foam is

  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • dash of vanilla

All you have to do to make sweet cold foam is put all of the ingredients into a cup or bowl and froth them together.

This is what it looks like before becoming a foam-like texture. The brown liquid is vanilla.
Frothing it up!
Final product! Nice and foamy!

If you don’t have a hand frother you can use a hand mixer. Once it is nice a fluffy add on top of your cold brew and enjoy!

Don’t have cream in the house, or you don’t like to add sugar to things. Don’t worry! It will still work! It just won’t be as creamy and as sweet. Personally, I think it tastes fine without sugar.

If you are dairy-free you can make this with oat milk. Just replace the milk and cream with 1/4 cup of oat milk. It tastes just as good!

Here are recipe cards you can download in case you want to make sweet cold foam.

Feel free to download the recipe cards above! Have a nice day!

Picture of Deer In Snow

Hope you are all having a fantastic day! It just snowed recently by my house so I decided to take pictures. Right before I was going to go out to take pictures I saw some deer so I took some pictures of them too.

The deer
I don’t know what he is looking at. lol
Can you find the deer? That is my treehouse on the right.
Well hello there.
“Running” *in the Forest Gump voice*

That is all for this post! I hope you enjoyed looking at these photos!
