I love coffee. Specifically iced coffee. When I have a free drink at Dunkin’ or Starbucks I always get a cold brew with cold foam. Because it can be kinda pricy for cold brews with cold foam, I have started to make it myself at home. It is very simple to make cold foam and it is delicious!
All you need to make Cold Sweet Foam is
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon cream
1/2 teaspoon sugar
dash of vanilla
All you have to do to make sweet cold foam is put all of the ingredients into a cup or bowl and froth them together.
If you don’t have a hand frother you can use a hand mixer. Once it is nice a fluffy add on top of your cold brew and enjoy!
Don’t have cream in the house, or you don’t like to add sugar to things. Don’t worry! It will still work! It just won’t be as creamy and as sweet. Personally, I think it tastes fine without sugar.
If you are dairy-free you can make this with oat milk. Just replace the milk and cream with 1/4 cup of oat milk. It tastes just as good!
Here are recipe cards you can download in case you want to make sweet cold foam.
Feel free to download the recipe cards above! Have a nice day!
I recently did a poll asking if you guys wanted to see what I got for Christmas, and it was all yeses.
I am not intentionally bragging. I have never done one of these types of posts before for that reason. I know a lot of people like these kinds of posts so that is why I am making this ( I also like these posts as well. If you did one comment the link 😉)
So here is what I got for Christmas.
My younger brother also paid for me and my older brother to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home.
I also got some sweat pants and some shirts from my grandparents.
That is all for this post! Hope you enjoyed reading it! What was your favorite thing you got for Christmas? Have a great day!
I can’t believe today is Christmas! It came so fast!
Today my family and I got up and ate cinnamon rolls (we always eat cinnamon rolls because it is a family tradition), and then we opened our presents and opened stalkings. Later on, our friends and grandparents will come over and we will eat a big turkey dinner, and play some games.
That is what my Christmas kind of looks like!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! And Don’t forget the true reason why we celebrate Christmas. We celebrate Christmas because Jesus was born to this earth, since he was born on this earth, died on the cross, and rose on the third day, we are able to go to heaven If we believe in him.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Today I am going to be sharing some Christmas Outfit ideas. I have never done any of these kinds of posts, so tell me if you like these, and I might do more. *None of these photos are mine. They are all from Pinterest.*
The first outfit Is a red sweater with black leggings or black jeans and a messy bun. This is perfect for a Christmas party that is not too casual and not super dressy.
Either of these hairstyles would be cute.
The next outfit is a red/green Flannel with a black/white shirt or a tank top and jeans. Pretty much any jeans would look good with a flannel.
The next outfit is for going out and about. It is pretty much your coat, some jeans, a Christmas scarf (so like plaid or a plain red scarf), and some medium-length boots.
Here are some coats, but a lot of coats would work.
Here is a more (like a lot) laid-back outfit. Grey sweat pants with a Christmas sweater.
Or you could have a plain red or green sweater. It does not have to say a bunch of things or have a design on it.
The next outfit is a White or beige cardigan with a Christmasy theme tee-shirt and Jeans.
Hope this gave you some ideas about what to wear this Christmas season! Thanks for reading! Have a good day!
Hope your day is going great! Today is my very first Christmas post! I will be posting Twelve Christmas posts (because of the song “Twelve Days of Christmas“) and the twelfth one will be on Christmas Day. So keep your eye out for all of those Christmas posts at 10:00 A.M. CT on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
If you look at my sidebar (scroll all the way down to the bottom if you have a phone) on my blog you should find a playlist of Christmas music. Feel free to listen to those while you read my Christmas blog posts. Today’s first one is going to be my wish list because why not, and maybe it might give you some ideas of what to ask for. When it says “here is the link” below a photo, click the word link and it should bring you to that item.
A Drawing Pad for a Computer. I have been wanting to do digital art for a very long time now, but I don’t have an iPad to do it on. I looked at iPads and Samsung tablets, but they are all too much money (like I don’t have 500 dollars laying around lol). My dad told me I could draw on a pad connected to the computer, plus it is a LOT cheaper.
Tangled Music Book. I have the frozen one and I love it because it has chords on top so I can add stuff to it (so kinda like hymn playing). So I would like to have this book because I love all of the songs in the movie.
A Circle Mirror. I already have a place to put this in my room. I think it would be nice in my room and I was going to put fairy light around it.
Dunkin’ Gift Card. I love coffee and especially love Dunkin’. I can get four drinks for about ten dollars at Dunkin. That is why I like to buy coffee there. lol
Rings. I love rings as jewelry because I can still do everything (Like play piano, violin, etc).
A Zip-Up Hoodie. I love hoodies but I don’t like how you have to pull it over (I know I know, it’s stupid lol) So I would love a hoodie that zips up.
Candles. I love the smell of most candles, and they are always so pretty.
Bubble Tea kit. I love bubble tea but I can’t get it very often because the bubble tea shop I go to is kinda far. So I would love a kit that way I could make it at home!
That is all for this post! I hope you enjoyed reading it! Keep your eye out for the eleven more to come!
Today I got up and my dad drove me to Dunkin’. I bought an iced caramel macchiato which was delicious.
Who knows what we will do for lunch we might skip it or eat leftovers. lol For dinner I and my mom’s family are all going to go out to Denny’s to eat dinner. Yes, Dennys. It is a family tradition. Yeah, so that is what my will kind of look like.
Here are five things I am thankful for and why, since it is THANKSgiving.
My Rabbit is healthy and alive. For that past two years now, every september, it would kinda get sick which I would freak out then. But thankfuly every single time she recovered. So I am very grateful my rabbit is alive.
I got to start violin lessons and I got my first violin. If you did not know I started violin lessons this year. I have been wanting to play violin forever (here is a post if you are intrested in all of the details), so I am extremely grateful that I got to start this year.
All of the traveling I have goten to do. This year me and my family have gone on many trips. Even though driving in the car can get tiresome, it is always worth it at the end.
My family is (pretty much) healthy. Last year was kinda rough with Covid. Me and my family all got it last year, and some of us had some other health isues. I am very grateful that none of us are sick.
My church is still open. I know some churches are closing and opening because of covid, and my church only closed when covid first happened. It’s nice to go some where, were you don’t have to worry about covid “stuff”.
That is it for today! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for?
Hey! Hope you are having a great day! I just went a short nature walk and took a bunch of photos, and wanted to share it with you all! Surprisingly, there is still a lot of green on some of the trees, but I am sure the leaves will fall off soon.
I hope you enjoyed looking at these photos! I might post some more photos soon (keep your eye out for that😉). It will probably be more pictures of leaves.
Hello! Today I am going to write about service dogs. Service dogs are very helpful for people who have a disability. They can help in so many ways. Some of the ways are: Picking up things, Guiding the blind, opening doors, and can even tell if you have high or low blood sugar (those are called diabetic alert dogs). Now that you know that service dogs are a big help to people, I am going to share what you should do if you see a dog service dog out in public.
DO NOT PET THE DOG! There is a reason why the dogs have a “do not pet” sign on their vest. It’s not because the dog is mean, and they would not be aggressive otherwise the dog could not be a service animal because then people could be at risk of getting hurt. It because it could distract the dog from helping their owner, and if you distract them from their owner, the owner could easily get hurt.
Don’t make noises that could distract the dog. This is kind of the same thing as petting you don’t want the dog to be distracted away from its owner. The best thing to do is just ignore the dog. I know, I know, dogs are cute and you want to say aww, but trust me the best thing for the owner and the dog is just to be quiet and not to distract the dog.
Don’t make any rude comments. What I mean by this is don’t say “Get your dog away from me before it bites me”, or “I have allergies”. I know not everyone has had a great experience with dogs, but service dogs are nice dogs and will not attack you. They go through two years of training so don’t worry about the dog attacking you. If you have allergies, just ovoid being near the dog, or if you on a plane take an allergy pill.
If you see a dog, with the service dog vest on, approaching you, FOLLOW THE DOG. That could mean the owner is hurt, and the dog is trying to get some help. So follow the dog and see if its owner needs help.
Next time you see a service dog with its owner just ignore it, because the owner could be depending on its life on the dog. You don’t want to be the reason why someone was to get hurt. I hope you found this post informational! Have a nice day!
Today I am going to share my top favorite TV shows. I actually do not watch too many TV shows. But when it comes to these shows, I could watch them all day long.
The Amazing World Of Gumball. You guys… This show is so funny, and great almost my whole family likes to watch this show. This show is about a middle schooler who lives in Elmore with his family. You can find this TV show on Hulu and Cartoon Network.
Tangled the Series. I have watched both seasons of this show and love it so much! Tangled is my favorite Disney princess movie, so it makes sense why I like it. It is a kid’s show but… I still think it’s a good show. If you love Tangled the movie, then you will probably like this series. You can find it on Disney Plus.
Be Cool Scooby-Doo. When I tell people that this is one of my favorite shows, they are like, “Ew no, Scooby Doo.” but guys, this is way better than the original corny Scooby-Doo. It still has some of those corny jokes, but the jokes are actually funny. The animation is much different than the original, but I like it. And the voices of the characters are all played by the original Scooby-Doo cast. You can watch the first episode for free on Boomerang. https://watch.boomerang.com/watch/3/1
Little House on the Prairie. This is a classic TV show a lot of people have probably seen. It is so much fun to watch, except some of the episodes are a little dramatic, you could say. But otherwise, it is a great TV show to watch with the family. I was working through the series, but I don’t know if I will finish it ): (there is a lot of episodes).
Cake Wars. This is my favorite baking TV show. I love to bake cakes, so this TV show is a lot of fun to watch. In the show, a couple of bakers compete to see who has the better cake, and they always have fun themes they have to follow (like monopoly, Dr. Seuss, The Grinch and the list goes on). Defiantly recommend this show if you love baking shows. Sadly they have not posted any new episodes since 2017, but they still have a lot of episodes.
Those are my favorite TV Shows. I know it is not a lot but maybe in the future I will do another one of these posts with more shows that I found and liked. Do you like any of these shows? What’s your favorite TV show?
Today I am going to share my summer bucket list. I am not going to pressure my self to do to many of the things, because I will have a busy schedule with music, camp, sports, etc.
Make Icecream (I just got an ice cream maker, I may do a post on it (;)!
Go to the lake.
Do my first Violin special for church.
Make a cake with Chocolate ganache in the middle.
Go horseback riding (I already went horseback riding a week ago, but I would love to do it again if possible.)
Maybe Get a African dwarf Frog. If you did not know, I love toads and frogs. I think it would be cool to have one of these frogs as a pet. If you know any information or you have had an African dwarf frog as a pet please let me know what you think of them.
Make lemonade. 😋🍋
Finish “The Avengers” with my friend.
Start a new art project.
Make a frog themed cake.
Earn some money.
Do a piano special for church.
Upload some more music on YouTube.
Those are all of my goals/things I would like to do in summer. Also, I am almost done with school so hopefully I will be able to have a regular posting schedule for my blog. What are somethings you want to do in summer? Have a great day!
Today I am going to share my planner for may, that I got from my mom and dad at Easter. This is kind of my first time planning my days. I had one for school back in 2019, but that was just for keeping track of school and not activities.
I had a lot of fun planning my week and I am hoping to do this for the rest of the year. Do you have a planner?
I hope you are doing great! Today I am going to share some tips for beginner musicians. I play the piano, guitar, ukulele, and… I am learning the violin (I’m very excited😜)🎉!! So I do have experience playing instruments. If you’re leaning the piano, flute, violin, etc then these tips will hopefully help you!
PRACTICE! When most people first learn an instrument, they have some motivation to practice because you’re doing something new and exciting! But after a while, the instrument might get a little boring. If that does happen set about 15-30 minutes to practice. It’s okay to miss one day, but remember you are not going to get better at any instrument if you do not practice.
Don’t give up! Just because you are not getting it right away, does not mean you should give up. I know a lot of people give up the guitar because it hurts their fingers or they are not getting how to put their fingers on the right fret. That kind of stuff can be fixed. If you practice 15 minutes every day, you will eventually get calluses on your figures, and then it will not hurt while you play the guitar. If your figures still hurt after 15 minutes of practicing, then try 10 minutes, then go up to 15 minutes. Now sometimes it is just hard for some people to learn a specific instrument. And after a while, you feel like you still don’t get it you could quit. Now don’t feel bad about quitting. Maybe the instrument was just not meant for you!
Play music you enjoy playing. This if you don’t like to practice. Learning a piece that you enjoy playing/listening to will make your practice more! Now A lot of people make the mistake of only playing music they know how to play. Now, if you want to get good at an instrument, you are going to have to learn the difficult thing about the instrument. Just playing what you know how to play is not the greatest, but it is always a good review on the things you already know.
Find a teacher you get along with. This will defiantly help want to practice and to be excited to go to your lessons, because if you don’t get along with your teacher, then you probably will not be as motivated to practice (and there is another reason why some people quit their instrument). If you feel like this teacher is not right for you and you guys just are not getting along try a new teacher. When looking for a teacher, ask around and see what other people say about that person before you start lessons with them.
Hope you found these helpful! Do you play an instrument? Do you want to play an instrument?
A couple weeks ago I did This post (click this post to read it😉) and in that post, I said that I would be posting some piano songs on my YouTube Channel (I also talk a lot more about my piano history). Well… I finally uploaded some music! I uploaded Amazing Grace. I played that song for a special at my church, so I figured I would upload it to YouTube as well.
The second song I uploaded was A Whole new world. I actually tried to play off the top of my head it when I was like 12, but then now I found the music and I can play the whole (pun unintended) song. I love this song! It’s probably one of my favorite songs to play on the piano. I have been working on memorize it. lol
I recorded it on my piano with my phone, and it’s kind of a weird angle, so I am trying to figure out what angle looks the best. I do like this angle because you can see outside, which I think looks kind of nice. Comment what you think of this angleor if I should change it?
That’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed listening to the songs! I plan on uploading some more songs in the future, so don’t for get to subscribe.(; Do you play piano?
I just recently did a research project on guitars and I figured I would share it with you guys! If you did not know, I do play the guitar. You can here some songs that I have played on my YouTube channel, Raegan F. I chose guitars for my research project, because I felt like I did not know a lot about their background. So… Here is my reasearch project paper.
Guitars are a popular instrument played by many people. People enjoy playing guitar because it’s easy to play and sounds beautiful.
They are part of the chordophones, a musical instrument that makes sound by plucking the strings. The body of the guitar is made of wood, such as spruce or cedar. The body of the guitar usually has pretty designs on them. People are very creative with the designs on them. The strings are either nylon or steel. On the very top of the guitar are these little nobs. Those are called pegs. You turn them to tune your guitar.
The history of the guitar dates back a long time ago. Guitars were developed in Europe at the beginning of the 12th century. There are a lot of carvings with Egyptians holding an instrument that looks to be like a chordophone. The Egyptian carvings are probably one of the oldest pictures of the chordophone family. The guitar originally had four strings, C, F, A, and D. Around the 16th and 19th century it got six strings tuned to the notes of E, A, D, G, B, and E.
The acoustic guitars are one of the more popular guitars. Most people play chords on it because it is the easiest thing to do on it. Acoustic guitars have steel strings on them, which makes them sound different from other guitars. You have probably heard an acoustic guitar on a country song and southern gospel because they sound nice played with those types of songs. This instrument also sounds nice played with Christian, conservative songs.
The classical guitar is a Spanish guitar, and it has bigger frets and has nylon strings. These guitars are usually finger-picking and not strummed. People tend to play solos on the classical guitar.
The electric guitar was developed in the 1930s, but it became popular in the 1950s and 1960s. The electric guitar has a loud sonic sound to it. The electric guitar is played through a guitar amp. An amp (amplifier) is a speaker where you can plug in your guitar and control how loud you want your guitar to sound. The electric guitar is played with many different types of music genres, such as rock, pop, jazz, and more.
There are two main types of ways you can play the guitar. One of the easier ways to play the guitar would be strumming chords. Playing chords is pretty simple. All you have to do is put your fingers where they belong. For instance, for the chord G, you would put your first finger on the second fret, second string, put the second finger, third fret, first string, and fourth finger, third fret, sixth string. Once you have all of your fingers in place, you strum down and up. There is a lot of different ways you can strum, but the most popular is down, down, down, up, down.
Another way you can play the guitar is by picking it. Picking the guitar is much harder than strumming it. You are constantly moving your figures to hit the right notes, unlike chords where you just hold your fingers on the right notes, and strum.
The guitar is a great instrument to learn! It is a lot simpler than some instruments. Once you learn a couple of chords, you can play a lot of different songs. It’s also a lot more portable than a tuba or a piano. Overall, the guitar is a wonderful instrument to play.
Hope you enjoyed reading it! And maybe learned something new!
